Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary
Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary is set in a privately owned, 610 sq km property, in the stunning Northern Flinders Ranges, which has unique, geological, scenic and ecological significance. Guests can enjoy a range of activities including scenic flights over the local area, or further afield to Lake Eyre, viewing the stars of the Southern sky in 1 of the 2 observatories. Guided and self-drive 4WD tours, bush walking and enjoying watching native animals in their own habitat are also options. The Ridge Top Tour can be arranged, which takes visitors through the ancient granites and rock of the Flinders Ranges. This rco-friendly property offers 3 accommodation types, including motel rooms, self-contained cottages and powered sites for caravans. Certain rooms have a seating area for your convenience.
